This page will guide you through the basic installation of the game and possible installation errors.

The first thing you need to have installed (often you already have them installed from other applications) are the following components:

• NET.Framework 4.7.2 or later
• DirectX Drivers
• XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0
• XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0 Refresh

There are 2 versions of the game that can be installed: the installer file (recommended) or the portable.

1. Download the installer file from the SIMT website
2. Run the installer file
3. Select the English language
4. Follow the instructions in the installer
5. You now have the application SimtSimulator.exe on your desktop and in the Start menu to run

1. Download the portable file from the SIMT website
2. Extract the downloaded file to any folder where you want to keep it
   • You can use the built-in Windows tool to extract (double click on the file and drag), 7zip, WinRar, or other tool
3. Navigate to the extracted folder
4. You can then run the game via SimtSimulator.exe (64-bit systems) or SimtSimulator32bit.exe (32-bit systems)

Since the application lacks a digital signature, Windows considers it unknown. This doesn't mean the app is malicious, just that Windows doesn't know it.

Solution:

1. Click Learn More
2. Then click Run Anyway

You must grant an exception to the game in your antivirus program, you can find how to do this in the help of your antivirus program.
